HireFire - The Heroku Process Manager
HireFire is a hosted service for managing and monitoring your Heroku web and worker dynos using a simple web interface.
One of the goals of this service is to significantly reduce your Heroku worker fees. This is accomplished by shutting down idle workers, and then spinning them back up when new jobs are queued.
Another goal is to add scalability to both your web, as well as your worker dynos. Spinning up more dynos for higher concurrency will improve throughput for both process types.
